Yes, submissions to Author Gate are completely free.

As a traditional publishing company, we do not charge for submissions or manuscript assessments, either from the author or their representateive. We also only accept manuscripts submitted by literary agents or through approved publishing gateways.

Whilst we do not charge authors or their representatives at any stage of the initial submission or assessment process, we do, like many traditional publishing companies, deduct the cost of publishing from the book's total lifetime sales to ensure that books are successful, but this is something that is dicussed with successful offers at the contract stage in dicussions with theier literary agent.
